Over this past week we have been on a whirlwind tour of the East Coast filming with the whole Unit BMX Team before guys headed overseas. Cam Pianta was the last guy to get in front of the lens, and leading up to the weekend, we had perfect weather everywhere! Cam had 4 sets of trails locked in all around Victoria, and we had an awesome 2 day roadtrip planned. Come Saturday morning however, we were driving north to meet up with Cam in his home town of Benalla, and things started to turn bad. Rain was pouring, and pretty much the entire state of Victoria was covered in it! Cam was gutted, and everything went on hold, we tried to wait it out and hope for a late afternoon session, but as the day went on we slowly gave up.

Sunday was our last chance, and thankfully we woke to a perfect day, despite the bad forecast on the news. We quickly snapped into action and by 9am we were on the way to Hendo's trails in El Dorado. Cam and Hendo sessioned the yard for a good hour, and both guys were in fine form. Everything from stretched superman seat grabs, to 360 look backs got thrown down, and before anyone even got a chance to warm down, we were all back in the car and driving to the next spot. Shepparton was in our sights, and Cam quickly demolished a run of sweet clips at the local park, despite the 1000 scooter kids popping up in front of Cam in every run. After some KFC and Cold Rock... (does it seem strange that KFC had no burger buns?)... we were on our way to the next set of trails. But before we could celebrate, Cam got the bad news that the trails wouldn't be ready, that they were still too wet from the previous days rain. Cam hit the phone book and was calling friends from all over the state trying to find a dry set of trails. Everywhere was to wet, and our awesome day started to look worse for wear. Our last hope was to take the 2 hour drive to Bendigo, where Cam's friend Borris gave us the green light to ride his private trails! They were still meant to be a bit wet from the night before, but we were willing to take the risk.

We rocked up to Bendigo as the sun was setting, and had to make quick work of the shoot. Cam and Hendo quickly grabbed the shovels and had the set running in no time. The jumps were a good variation from Hendo's yard, and we got to see some awesome flowy runs from Pianta, something most of you may not be used to. As the light dwindled, Cam threw down run after run to try and get enough clips out of the session to help boost the final video. All in all a super busy, but fun day, and we can confidently say that Cam Pianta's video is going to be killer, despite all of the obstacles stacked in front of us.

Good work Cam, you are a machine!
