Levi Sherwood Wins Free4Style Comp!

We just got the awesone news that Unit athletes Levi Sherwood and Mat Rebeaud have taken out the Swatch Free4Style in Switzerland!

Levi has continued his great form after winning the last X-Fighters round in Moscow, and looks to be in career best form heading into X-Games at the end of the month. Eight of the best FMX riders in the world took part in the SWATCH FMX Contest today in Estavayer-le-Lac. In front of thousands of spectators, the New Zealander and rising star Levi Sherwood, turned in a most impressive performance and, following deliberations by the freestylers (the riders judge the performances of competitors themselves), took first place ahead of local star Mat Rebeaud and the American Lance Coury.

The event continues this evening with a big FMX show and an evening of live music and dance with DVJs Urban Knights. The wakeboard and jet ski finals are set to take place during the day on Sunday, along with a skateboard contest and another FMX show at 14.30. Entrance is free throughout the event.
