Cam Pianta Joins Pilgrim BMX

Hey all,

Well there has been a big change for me in the way of bike sponsor, as of the first of this month I have started riding for Pilgrim BMX www.pilgrimbmx.com

The company is the brain child of my good friend John Buultjens and when he asked me to ride for him it was a real honour and also a great chance to work with someone like him.

As my contract with my previous sponsor had just ended I took John up on the offer and here we are, cause when your mate starts a bike company you know you want to be there.

John explains a little about Pilgrim, "Pilgrim started back in 1992 when we made our first video called Pilgrim BMX, REBELS IN A WORLD FULL OF LAW'S. We as rider’s are some sort of rebels, going out for a street ride trying to find that next secret spot. Having fun on a sweet ledge or crazy rail until the law come up and spoil it for us. We all know this experience all so well. I remember when we made the video my own personal bike was impounded for three months for grinding a ledge. This all happened in Dundee, Scotland. I have always loved the name Pilgrim and decided in 2010 to make this old video into a complete bicycle company."

I will be riding my brand new Pilgrim / Unit frame with a 21" top tube all in black with Colony parts, and it feels great. Thanks also goes out to Clint Millar at Colony BMX.

Also on the team are fellow Unit team riders Nick Cooper, Dane Searls and Jaie Toohey and I'm sure these guys will let everyone know soon.

I would also like to take this chance to thank TripleSix (We The People and Eclat) and all the guys there for a great year, it was definitely awesome to work with you guys and I wish you all the best.

Apart from that i have been riding down Melbourne way. Going to ride dirt again this weekend if the weather stays good, so we should get some good shots and some riding done. Anyways thats all from me...
