Unit BMX's Kiwi shredder Jed Mildon has been invited to compete against Australia's best riders at the Red Bull Dirt Pipe contest next month.

Jed's call-up means he's one of 10 pro riders from across the globe invited to compete at the perfectly sculpted 100% dirt halfpipe.

Red Bull has also put the call out to Australia's next generation of riders, inviting them to put their name forward for the event. Red Bull will select 30 applicants to battle it out in a pre-qualifier to win one of 10 spots to compete against the 10 invited stars that include Aussie machine Corey Bohan, USA's Anthony Napolitan and Big Jed.

Qualifying will be held on February 4, with the finals going down on February 5-6. Keep an eye on unitriders.com for more updates as they come to hand.
