G'day guys

Well last month has been crazy i have been super busy riding as much as i can and its been a blast.

Starting at halloween Dean Manson and i made the trip to sydney for the tempered bikes jam at dullwich hill skate park which was rad but even more rad was catching up with my mate Ando and heading out and riding his and Biffo's spot, I haven't ridden trails in a while so this was bloody awesome, Even with a hangover bigger than the halloween party we were at the night before.

The weekend after i found myself in Yarrawonga for my mate Brett's trail jam in his back yard, it was way too bloody hot all weekend to be riding so we found ourselves down the skatepark with a few eskys and a couple of brews while we waited for the heat to go away. by the time we got to Brett's yard i think most of the crew were way to pissed to ride so i think there was about 5 of us that had a session, the trails were running sweet for about 30 min then even tho we kept pumping the water onto them they started to fall apart so we ended up having a throw down session on Brett's ramp to dirt set up I do remember Brett throwing down a tyre grab to whip and Dre doing some of the loosest nothings on that thing, i ended up just doing a bunch of tricks which felt awesome cause i haven't really been looking in my trick bag much lately so it felt good to let it all hang out. afterward all the crew made our drunken way to the ski club and i'm pretty sure we had a good time i know i ended up sleeping on the roof of a 4wd for the night.. good times haha

Another weekend another trail jam this time we are out in elderado near Wangaratta for my little shredder Chris Henderson's yard jam, Chris is 15 and one of the Craziest kids i know he has some amazing moves on his stunt cycle and he loves to ride dirt and throw in the fact his younger brother rides and his family are the raddest means the jam was a family affair so there was a really good vibe there.

it was another scorcher of a day but there was a really good turn out with a bunch of young guys from the surrounding areas turning up. It was a pretty chill session just fun to ride dirt again. Chris was throwing down the bangers like only a 15 yo can haha, seriously he's like a energiser bunny in the end was a really good day

The next weekend was rampfest box jump comp. i know the video has already been posted so just go check that out

anyways thats what i have been up to these last few busy weeks. got a few more things coming up this coming week and weekend so i'll keep you all posted So now you've finished reading this go ride!

Well i havent been doing much downhilling lately since ive ben home mainly hanging with friends and chillin. I recently bought a S13 silvia from a friend who was in need of some cash and wasnt really drifting much due to uni commitments so ive filled the void in thrashing the silvia lately. I try to get out to the drift practice sessions as much as i can as ive always loved drifting and have been doing it for years. Fortunately i get my license back next year so i will be actually driving myself to the track and probly be handling and getting the feel of the car a little better. At the last drift session at queensland raceway we managed to get a few pics but unfortunately it was to dark, my mate nathan was there drifting his 09 VE holden ute on 22"s , off his head!

I was down the coast the weekend just gone for a downhill ride day at illinbah just north of canungra. The goldcoast mtb club provides shuttles, food and drink at these events and its just a good way to get some quality practice on a quality DH track aswell as catch up with mates you probly wouldnt see otherwise.

I hadnt been on my Dh bike much so it was sick to get back on the rig and go wild for a bit, the last section of the illinbah track is relatively steep wide open across cow paddocks and if your off the brakes its like mach 1, you dont want to come off here ha ha!

From there that afternoon we headed back to brisbane to a mates house(blackie) who had been building a few small dirt jumps in his backyard. It was a jump,thrash, beers, bbq session and just a laugh with all the boys there, i didnt have my dirt jump bike with me but managed to have a play on them on the DH rig. I was impressed with blackies efforts as hes built these jumps on the side of a hill and the dirts not the softest to dig, hats off mate!

Im home for a few weeks then i head to whistler canada for xmas with my wife claire, we then will be back in january to train and race before heading off in april for the 2010 world cup downhill season ahead.
