Aside from all the hype and excitement in Egypt for X-Fighters this morning, I still can't believe I got out of bed at 4am to watch it live! haha but it was definitely worth it, despite some 'questionable' judging decisionss.

Our boy Levi went into the event with a 3rd place qualifying, and alot of confidence. He met 6th place qualifier Adam Jones who in his run only completed 7 of the 8 allowed jumps. Adams run was solid, but Levi matched him with very strong 8 trick run. The crowd and even the announcers had put there choice on Sherwood for the win, but somehow, the judges saw Adam the better contender and awarded him the win. This comes as a shock to me, considering in previous events, when riders who drop a single jump in a run normally get scored against very heavily, and considering Levi had a better looking to run begin with in my eyes, it seems ridiculous that the judges would go with Adam. Perhaps all of this judging evaluation and overhaul has not done the job we thought it would.

Anyway, enough controversy, overall the riding was at a good level, and the location couldn't be beaten. It was amazing to watch, and I certainly can't wait for the next round.
