Levi Sherwood Wins Free4Style Comp!

We just got the awesone news that Unit athletes Levi Sherwood and Mat Rebeaud have taken out the Swatch Free4Style in Switzerland!
Levi has continued his great form after winning the last X-Fighters round in Moscow, and looks to be in career best form heading into X-Games at the end of the month. Mat also has alot to be happy about, only just being back on the bike after a massive injury at the beginning of the year. Read the full story below, courtesy www.fmxworld.com. Eight of the best FMX riders in the world took part in the SWATCH FMX Contest today in Estavayer-le-Lac. In front of thousands of spectators, the New Zealander and rising star Levi Sherwood, turned in a most impressive performance and, following deliberations by the freestylers (the riders judge the performances of competitors themselves), took first place ahead of local star Mat Rebeaud and the American Lance Coury.
The event continues this evening with a big FMX show and an evening of live music and dance with DVJs Urban Knights. The wakeboard and jet ski finals are set to take place during the day on Sunday, along with a skateboard contest and another FMX show at 14.30. Entrance is free throughout the event.

Giants Of Dirt Construction Update

Here is a quick snapshot for you from the construction of Dane Searls new jumps.
Yes that really is an upramp for a BMX jump in front of Dane, and no that is nowhere near the biggest jump planned. So far the initial 32ft hip has been pretty much finished, along with most of the 2nd 35ft trick jump. From there it is straight downhill towards 2 monster hits....
We will keep the rest of the details to ourselves for now, but if everything goes to plan you should see Dane riding these things soon.
