In a big blunder of planning, the final round of the Crusty Demons T4D shows also hits Sydney on Saturday night, and it looks to be a crazy big show! Unit team riders Matt Schubring, Kain Saul and Beau Bamburg are all throwing it down for the fans, and will be joined by Robbie Maddison who has confirmed he will be doing the world first roof drop inside the Sydney venue! Maddo still has an injured wrist, and he will really be doing all of this for the fans. We wish Maddo the best with his crazy stunts, and if you want to get along to see it live, head to WWW.CRUSTY.COM
Finally, not forgetting about our New Zealand counterparts, Unit BMX rider Jed Mildon is putting on some crazy big BMX jump contests on the main street of Taupo! It all kicks off at 2.30pm Friday afternoon, and finishes with the mega jump contest at 4pm Saturday. If you are lucky enough to be anywhere close to Taupo NZ, get your ass there!
Hey guys,
It's been a while since my last update, but I have had a pretty busy last couple of weeks. It started at the beginning of november, Brad Hage, Ben Soule and myself jumped on a couple of big birds and flew over to Dili, East Timor. I've been over to Dili plenty of times before, but it the first trip for the other boys and I was pretty excited as we were getting out of Dili this time and doing a bit of freeriding in the mountains along the coast.
It was the beginning of the wet season over there, which meant it was rediculously hot during the day, then it would rain in the afternoon. This was good for the mx guys over there, but not so good for us when we were trying to build jumps out in the mountains. We percerviered though, and managed to build one sweet jump in a quarry out of town and found a few smaller fun hits while doing some incredible trail riding.

We drove five hours down the coast to another town to do a demo at their soccer stadium, and on the way we saw some terrain which has to be some of the best natural riding I have ever seen. We didn't have time this trip, but I'm already itching to get back over there and hit it up.
The actual motocross event in Dili was a blast, the crowd was huge, weather stayed good and we all had a great time.
After coming home for two days it was time to head to Bali to ride a comp Steve Sommerfeld was putting together over there. My fiance Casey came with me which was good, although I hardly saw her, the shopping there was too much for her to resist!
We got to do a ride through town on some KLX140's with a police escort, those things are awesome for key bangers! We tried to wreck them but they didn't miss a beat, I highly reccommend those lil buggers. The event had a few dramas, mainly due to bikes for most of the FMX guys being a bit how-ya-goin. All the guys did the best with what they had, and the crowd still seemed to really get into it.
Kiwi bro Mitch McHardy got the win, doing one of the scariest flips i've ever seen. I still don't know how he pulled it around... Gotta give him credit though as he wasn't feeling it all day but he still got the job done. I came in second place, and USA rider Greg Schaff ended up in third. Fingers crossed they hold the event again next year, all it needs are a few little things sorted and it has the potential to be a killer event.
The highlight of the trip was Jason Rosyski, on his first time overseas, getting lost the first night we got there and coming home at 9 the next morning after sleeping in a KFC! Awesome effort.
That's it from me, I'm just taking it easy for a couple of weeks now and getting back into a routine at home.
Cheers
Joe

Very soon a lot of Unit's motocross team athletes will be easier to spot than Michael Jordan in a crowd of midgets, thanks to a new scheme where we will provide our riders with custom-painted Unit helmets.
Helmet painter extraordinaire Mark Brown from Brown's Grafix / Brownie's Electroland is the maestro behind these stylish, attention-grabbing masterpieces, and we want to put a big shout-out to the bloke for offering his services.
Keep your eyes peeled at the track and compound soon, where you'll be able to spot your favourite riders sporting these fresh new lids, complete with a personalised name logo on the rear (see bottom pic).

Crusty Demons Thirst 4 Destruction Tour, Brisbane, November 13.
Check out this highlight clip which covers Jacko's quest to land the infamous front flip, Kain Saul's Harley-Davidson backflip, Robbie Maddison's return from injury, Benny Fiese's massive double flip crash plus a host of international and Aussie stars and entertainers.
Schuie stepped up this week in the 'Best Whip' section, taking down fellow Unit team mate Beau Bamburg, who hasn't lost a whip comp on this tour yet!
Sydney will host the final Crusty Demons live show for 2010 on November 27, and it sounds like Maddo will be ready to attempt the roof drop, which he developed just for this tour.

Schuie has been putting in the hard yards lately, riding countless shows, digging and building the 'Giants Of Dirt' BMX jumps, and upgrading his personal riding compound at Boonah! It all came to life today, as a swag of the world's best FMX and MX riders converged for an epic film shoot for the next Crusty Demons film, as well as Schuie's personal TV feature which will be airing on Fuel TV early next year.
Schuie was joined by X Games Gold Medallist Josh Hansen, Beau Bamburg, Steve Mini, Kain Saul, Billy Mackenzie, Todd Waters, Robbie Marshall and more, who all went about carving up Schuie's fresh course.

Photo: The weather forecast didn't look good, but the day turned out great except for a little bit of afternoon wind.
Of all the amazing stuff that went down throughout the day, apparently everyone's highlight was the crazy chopper pilot who was on site helping with the filming. The Gold Coast pilot had told us he was prepared to dig worms out of the ground with the chopper if we wanted, and as soon as we took off to start filming, his words begun to come to life! Within a 45 minute session, we tore the top of one of Schuies pine trees, blew Crusty creator Jon Freeman off the dirt landing he was filming from, and scraped the tail rotor across some of Dane's BMX jumps while chasing the FMX guys around the yard. You will be able to see som of the amazing footage in a soon to be released Unit / Crusty web video, as well as a full section in the next Crusty Demons film. A more indepth feature will also be included in Schuie's personal TV feature which will be airing on Fuel TV early next year.
