Aussie DH mountain-bike legend Chris Kovarik and his Canadian DH Women's champion fiancee Claire Buchar have launched a brand-new website, Kovarik Racing, as they begin dabbling in coaching clinics, media and track-building, as well as racing and organising events.
From February 5 Chris will be holding coaching and tuition days up in the Gold Coast Hinterland. With prices starting from as little as $110, you'd be a numbskull to not sign up if you want to progress your DH skills and learn from one of Australia's best riders.
Check out the fresh, new website www.kovarikracing.com for news on what this dynamic duo is up to, coaching days, and stacks more.

Who’s the biker who inspires you the most, or that inspired you in the past?
Motocross is a big influence, thats for sure… I love to see how James Stewart rides… I like Corey Nastazio to… I always look up to him since i was a little kid… He is like the god father of DJ.
During your career you have surely lived tons of great experiences, met thousands of people, overcome difficult moments and so on. What’s your best memory among these years, the moment in which you had the most fun or the experience that marked you the most?
Well i was in chile when that gnarly earthquake happened… I was sleeping and everything start shaking and shit… More than 500 people died… I was insane and kinda scary.
And travelling around the globe in 5 star hotels, VIP in the best clubs etc. It's kinda cool to. Haha.

It seems we learn a new thing everyday about Unit's newest MTB team rider Andreu Lacondeguy! First of all we stumbled across this footage (above) of him backflipping a full size moto over 2 years ago! And then we found a new clip of him schredding some dirt jumps on a BMX, and not only was he shredding, he was throwing down bangers left right and centre! (Below - Skip to 3.18 for Andreu's clips)
I think it is fair to say Andreu's skill goes way beyond a MTB bike. We can't wait to do some filming with the crazy Spaniad.

Unit team rider, and Kiwi moutain bike shredder Kelly McGarry has just scored this awesome cover shot on Revolution Australian MTB Magazine.
Kelly has been racking up the miles lately, travelling all around the world, competing in some massive comps such as Red Bull Rampage and Crankworx, where he placed a very respectful 5th. Kelly will be heading back down to NZ soon, and hopefully we will get a chance to catch up and film some bagin' new video clips. Stay tuned...

Red Bull Rampage has just wrapped up, and it was insane to say the least!! So much progression covered the hills of Utah, as the craziest MTB riders on the planet threw themselves off some of the biggest and most dangerous obstacles ever seen in an action sports contest.
Unit team rider Andreu Lacondeguy went big, and threw down some massive flips in his first tun to come home in 4th place. He went even harder in hs second run attempting a back flip no hander over one of the big natural terrain jumps, but a slight under rotation sent him bodyslamming into the dirt.
The eventual winner of the event, Cam Zink attempted the biggest 360 drop ever done, and after 1 massive crash, stuck it on his 2nd effort. You will catch all the action over the coming days on the internet, but for now, here are the results and for a photo gallery, head over to Pink Bike.
