We are pumped to announce that the very first Unit concept store is now open on the Sunshine Coast, featuring all of our latest products, videos, art and memorabilia. Stay tuned for more details on an official launch event, but for now you can still go and check it out at Sunshine Plaza, Maroochydore, just next to the cinemas.

Unit athlete Aaron 'Wheelz' Fotheringham recently nailed the world's first double backlfip on a wheelchair, after many crashes and attempts. You may have already seen the video online, but we thought we would share these videos from worldwide news programs CNN and the Today Show, who have brought Aaron's amazing achievement to the mass public.
Congratulations again Aaron!

It seems Unit's awesome Summer 1 range has only been on shelves a couple of weeks, but our hot new Summer 2 range is just around the corner, with the first few boxes of Syca, Glen Helen and Glory tees arriving in our warehouse first thing this morning.
If you thought the Summer 1 line was sweet, you ain't seen nothin' yet! Unit's High Summer 2010 arrives in stores on November 1, so stay tuned...!

Unit’s X Games FMX silver medallist, Levi Sherwood, is facing three months of PS3 time after breaking his femur and fracturing his wrist at the ASA FMX World Championships at Pomona, CA last Saturday.
The 18-year-old's crash has destroyed his hopes of beings a contender for the 2010 Red Bull X-Fighters crown, with the final round in Rome slated for October 1.
Levi’s manager, Russ Stratton, says doctors inserted a rod and two screws to repair the femur, but no surgery was required on the wrist. Within 48 hours he was out of bed and walking with the aid of a walker, and was discharged from hospital on this morning.
His doctor, Paul Reiman, relayed a positive prognosis and expects Levi will be back on a bike in three months’ time.
All the best for the recovery, cuz!
Wheelz just sent us the news that he landed the first ever double back flip on a wheelchair!! Massive congrats buddy.

So here we are, chilling in our resort after another massive day hanging out with and filming the Unit team over here in the USA. It is amazing how much effort all of these guys put in every single day training for their sports, the weather in Cali right now has been well above 35 degrees every day, and just filming and taking photos is a tough enough job, let alone punching out 20 minute motos and full FMX sessions.
First off the rank was Team Motoconcepts riders Vince Friese and Travis Baker, who we caught up with at Star West MX park. These 2 guys shred, and have been scored top 10 finished in the nationals this year. We will be following them, and the rest of Team MCR including Kyle Chisholm, Ryan Sipes and Matt Goerke this weekend at Southwick, so stay tuned for videos and full profile on the team...

Photo: Levi Sherwood has so much style, and is the man to beat right now in the world of FMX.
We have been looking forward to spending some time with our good pal Levi 'Shezza' Sherwood ever since we last filmed at the Farm Jam, and to say his riding has progressed in leaps and bounds is an understatement. Levi has completely stepped up the game of FMX this year, and every single time he comes out and rides, he brings something new to the table. Heading into the final round of the Red Bull X-Fighters series, Levi has caught up in the points, and now sits just 20 points behind series leader Andre Villa. Basically it is anyones series this year, and it will all come down to the Italy round. Levi is definitely the hot favourite to win, and if he rides like his usual self, the title will be his.
We were lucky enough to film Levi tearing apart the former Red Bull Compound in California, and despite the heat and wind, he threw down all his trademark tricks, complete with hyper extension and style like no other. We also grabbed an interview with Levi and his mechanic, the world famous Monty, so stay tuned for that...

Photo: Broc Tickle races through a Perris Raceway turn for the camera.
Next on our list was Pro Lites racer Broc Tickle. Broc has had a series of ups and downs this year, starting with a win in Seattle, and ending with a broken collarbone. Fortunately for Broc, the Outdoors season has had a week break, and with his surgery going really well for the broken collarbone, he will be returning to racing this weekend at Southwick, only missing 2 rounds.
Today in the 37 degree heat though, you wouldn't of noticed a difference in Broc's speed, as he tore apart the famous Perris Raceway for the Unit camera.

Photo: Aussie Dan Reardon scrubs it out, during a chance meeting at Perris Raceway today.
Up next on the trip, we will be catching up with Aussie MX prodigy and Unit racer Dan Reardon. Dan has had a bit of bad luck this year starting with Anaheim 1, but has really picked up his game the last few rounds, so can't wait to see him in action.
We will be filming a heap of new stuff with him before and at the Southwick MX this weekend, so watch out for that...
We recently hung out with Wheelz while in Vegas, and hit him up with a bunch of questions about his life for the first part of the new Unit 'First & Last' video series. You might know Wheelz as the first person to ever backflip a wheelchair, or from his recent crazy wheelchair antics on the megaramp at the Nitro Circus Live tours.
Stay tuned for more in the series, including Cam White and Nate Berkheimer from Las Vegas as well.

Because all the riders in Vegas are injured right now, we have been hanging out doing all the cool local things that these guys get to do. As you know, guns are pretty much banned in Australia, but over here, basically every American has an arsenal of guns big enough to take down an army. So today Bobby Hill (Jordan Yost) the race car driver took us all out in the desert to try out his guns. On the menu were 2 handguns, and a gnarly assault rifle!
We were joined by Cam W and Nate B, who are pretty unfamiliar with weapons, so it was a good laugh to watch everyone try and shoot the targets (watermelons & soda cans).
After that wrapped up, we said goodbye and thanks to all the Vegas locals who had shown us such a great time. It was time to head back to LA, as we have a heap of shoots lined up with the likes of Levi Sherwood, Broc Tickle, Team Motoconcepts and of course Dan Reardon. The 3 hours drive did not go to plan, and it was late Sunday afternoon, the traffic was grid-lock! I think every single person on the west coast of America went to Vegas for the weekend, so we were stuck with them on the drive. Finally we arrived at our hotel at 1am, with only a few hours to sleep and get ready before it all starts again.
