Gold Coast beauty Amanda Hinchcliffe has come a long way from her days as a truckie from Kalgoorlie.
The 21-year-old has just taken the top title at the world's biggest swimwear model pageant in the US, Miss Hawaiian Tropic International. Miss USA was named runner-up, while Miss Peru came in second.
As part of the Miss Hawaiian Tropic competition, the waitress – who also works as a Hooters girl trainer – donned a national costume as well as evening wear and swimwear before becoming the first Australian to win the title in the pageant's 27-year history.
The stunner competed against about 100 lovely ladies from 80 countries before being crowned the winner. Hinchcliffe will head back to Australia on Friday.
